G.R.O.W. is excited to announce that we are an official Los Angeles Unified School District vendor and will be doing our first training in June of 2019. LAUSD is the second biggest school district in our nation. We are thrilled about impacting the lives of youth, starting in heart of LA in the central region.
A huge thank you to all of you who are a part of the GROW community helping us do the important work of helping youth align who they are with what they want to do. We could not be doing this work without you.
The curriculum team is working on modifying our reflective days which is paired with each core class.
Boston University chapter of Hack4Impact develops partnership with GROW to help connect students with future careers, goals, and interests.
GROW Executive Director Nicole Serena Silver and GROW graduate Lindsay Stanley sit down with local radio host Sterling James to discuss how youth can take ownership of their education, careers, and future.
Nicole has always had a knack for finding holes in systems. She looks at a situation, takes everything into consideration, and creates a whole approach to a solution. Her own struggles with finding her passion and calling motivated her to help others.
The Science of Character (8 mins) explores the neuroscience and social science that proves that we can shape who we are, and who we want to be in the world. Customized for G.R.O.W. by Tiffany Shlain & Let It Ripple Film Studio.
